Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Long Island and I especially love it in the summer. Growing up on the water with a boat in my backyard I practically grew up at the beach. I love that my childhood beach has maintained its family charm, and still houses the Casino, a bar where no gambling can be found but live music and Long Island Ice Teas are bountiful. Even though my summer's haven't been carefree in years there's still nothing better to me than a long day at the beach (the tan the day after is certainly an added bonus).
