High-low

Dress- H&M
I bought this dress back in January or December because it was easy to throw on, $15, and I knew I was heading down to Miami at some point during the winter. I wore it down in Miami for brunch on my birthday back in March which you can see on my Instagram here.Instagram

Simple sums up my summer style this year. Now that it's finally feeling like fall I cannot wait to bust out some new pieces I bought this past weekend and pile on the layers!

Simple and Easy

Dress- H&M, Shoes- Target, Bag- Rebecca Minkoff
This dress is constantly thrown on some object in my room, somehow never making it on a hanger. I wear it constantly in the summer it is so comfy and easy to throw on and head out the door. I love that I can add some wedges and a cute bag to dress it up a bit as well.

The bag mentioned in the previous post!

Orange you glad?

Bag- Off 5th, Dress- Gap Outlet, Shoes- Target
I bought this bag and a cross body Rebecca Minkoff both from the Saks outlet, Off 5th, back in May. I wanted a new bag however I ended up getting two bags and opening up a Saks charge card, whoops! While I'll be putting this dress away soon as I transition my closet to fall the bag will surely get my through the next couple of months with it's orange hue and buttery leather.

Pants, pants, pants

Shirt/Shoes- Target, Pants- H&M
So I need to work on the photo editing with this computer but here's another outfit I shot a while back. In the last picture you can see the highlights in my hair which are actually much lighter right now because I had them touched up before my brothers wedding last weekend. Anyway since I'm back in school, and sitting in freezing classrooms all day, the majority of my summer wardrobe has been pants. I don't actually wear heels to class but I thought I needed to dress it up for blogging purposes. Also my squinty eyes are the reason I usually wear sunglasses in posts!

What what

Shirt- Target, Pants- Gap, Shoes- Forever21
So remember when I used to actually do this? I took these pictures forever ago but have not gotten around to uploading, editing, and actually posting them. Life has been crazy busy but it a good way. Hopefully I will be able to post a bit more in the future.

Cropped

Sweater- TJ Maxx, Necklace- Bauble Bar
This is the first time I have turned on my computer in like 2 weeks. I have a 6 year old MacBook, you know the ones they don't even make anymore, and it is really on its last leg. I actually have a new computer in the mail as we speak seeing as how I am going to need technology to make it through this semester of classes. Anyway this sweater was a present from my mom for Christmas and I have been wearing it constantly, I even brought it to Miami and wore it out one night for dinner. I don't really know why I'm in love with it, just know that I am. More updates and pictures to come soon, I still have yet to upload any Miami pictures.

Also my most viewed post to date is this one where I show my Kristin Bun and how I get my super straight hair to appear wavy without any heat. This is exactly how I got my hair to be wavy in these pictures. I realized I could add some updates to that post, is anyone interested in that?

Mint Green

Sweater/T-Shirt- Gap
I fell in love with this mint color a few years ago when everyone was wearing it as nail polish.
Because Chanel seemed to be the only one making the color I lusted after it while continuously telling myself that $22 dollars for a bottle of nail polish was just way too much. Fast forward towards the end of that summer (I want to say it was 2010) and Revlon, one of my favorite nail polishes, had come out with the color. No nail polish has ever been used by me or my roommates as much as that mint color. To wrap up my totally unnecessary story, I love the color mint and when my future sister in law bought me this mint colored sweater for Christmas it only confirmed my love for her. Add to the fact she's thinking of doing Mint and Lavender for the wedding colors and I have to really salute my brother for snagging such an awesome chick. Seriously just search Mint and Lavender wedding in Pinterest and get ready to be awed.
