Weekend Retreat
Two weekends ago my boyfriend and I made this delicious meal. My mom is the queen of Italian cooking and when I told her I was going to make chicken parmigiana using a canned sauce she simply told me no. Within the hour she emailed me her recipe for sauce which surprisingly wasn't as time consuming as I expected. We didn't use fancy plates and we clearly didn't care about the health value, in fact we finished off a loaf of garlic bread by the end of the night (okay, okay the bread was mostly me). Money was saved, we were satisfied, and I made momma proud. Basically what I consider a job well done!
